What is Pomace?
Pomace refers to the pulpy residue left after fruits such as grapes are pressed and crushed of their oils and juices. They contain the skins, seeds, and stems and are often used to make products such as animal feed, compost, or extract for additional oils or alcohol.
How do we use pomace?
Grape leather is made by dehydrating grape pomace, combining it with other ingredients like sugars or pectin, and then drying it into a flexible, sheet-like material.
